You should have ZERO expectations of this class in order to receive maximum benefit.
• After your first class you might feel very energized, very tired, dizzy, or just feel great. These are all symptoms that your body is acclimating to the experience. Drink lots of water and get a good night’s sleep.
• You might feel sore or stiff the day after your first class. This is a good sign. Come back to class the next day or as soon as possible! Your body is getting stronger and more flexible.
• You might experience some skin irritation. This too is normal; it means that the skin is releasing toxins. Showering directly after class will wash the toxins away. It will also help normalize the body temperature.
• After class, you might get really hungry or you might lose your appetite altogether. Both reactions are known to happen. Once you get into a regular practice pattern, your appetite will normalize. Soon you’ll find yourself feeling and looking leaner and younger.
